ABOUT

Paola Bellani is an Italian architect and design consultant based in Milan. Her practice spans design research, brand strategy, art direction, editorial and visual culture. With a background in the design and fashion industries, she works with Italian and international companies to develop brand identities, creative strategies and visual narratives. She has lived and worked in Seoul, Copenhagen, Brasilia and São Paulo, and has collaborated with brands including Yamakawa Tokyo 1952 and Fritz Hansen. Paola is co-founder of disegno. la nuova cultura industriale and contributes to The Book, writing about design communication and photography. Since 2018, she has taught Brand Strategy and Image Culture at NABA Milano. Her current research focuses on the imaginaries that shape contemporary design, and on the relationship between objects, spaces, images and culture.
