Paola Bellani is an Italian architect graduated at Politecnico di Milano, working and living in Milano, previously based in Seoul, Copenhagen, Brasilia and São Paulo.


She has an international experience in art direction / brand communication for the design industry.

She has followed the Brand Communication of Yamakawa Tokyo 1952, a historical Japanese rattan furniture brand.

Based in Copenhagen, she has been the Brand Communication Manager for Fritz Hansen.

With Stefano Casciani she founded in 2011 the magazine “disegno. la nuova cultura industriale”, where she has been the Deputy Editor until 2020.

She has published articles for Domus, Elle Decor, Ideat, Rum and currently writing for The Book magazine, preferably about design communication and photography in the design industry.

She has an international teaching experience:
started in 1999 at Kookmin University, Seoul.

Since 2018 she is a professor at NABA Milano teaching Brand Strategy and Visual Design.

She has an extensive experience in designing fashion shows and exhibitions, started in 2000.
